Journal of Applied Physics gets a new editor-in-chief

Andre AndersOn July 1, 2014, AIP Publishing welcomed André Anders, PhD, as the new editor-in-chief for Journal of Applied Physics. Having served as an Associate Editor since 2009, Anders has a record of dedication to the journal and brings a wealth of research leadership and editorial oversight to this new role. Anders earned his Ph.D. in physics at Humboldt University Berlin, Germany, in 1987, and is currently a senior scientist and leader of the Applications Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Throughout his career, Anders has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is a prolific contributor to the literature. For more information, see the press release.
